Local skiers finish at the top in the Mount La Crosse Cup

La Crosse, Wisc. (WXOW)- In what was a bad weather day for skiing and snowboarding, the athletes competing still stuck out the icy course conditions for the Mount La Crosse Cup.

In the Super GS, La Crosse’s Max Grode finished in first place with a time of 37.3. Right behind him was Robbie Ruprecht of Onalaska in 2nd place. Ruprecht finished with a time of 37.44.

As for the female division, Elsa Benson (AOWS) finished in first place.

In boardercross, La Crosse’s Max Earle finished as the fastest male. La Crosse’s Kacy Eckhardt the fastest female.

The State Meet at Mount La Crosse begins Saturday February 16th.
