La Crosse, Wisc. (WXOW)- The UW-La Crosse baseball team is rolling through conference play. Entering Sunday’s double-header against UW-Oshkosh, the Eagles had a three-game winning streak and owned sole possession of 2nd place in the conference.
In game one, UW-La Crosse defeated UW-Oshkosh 5-1.
Mason McMahon pitched 7 innings, allowing just 2 hits and 1 run, striking out 9 batters. On the offensive end, Shane Coker led with 2 RBIs. Mitch Sutton and Jake McClellan went 2-4 at the plate.
The Eagles also won game two 12-6 improving to 8-2 in conference play extending their winning streak to 5 games.
