Stevens Point. Wis. (WXOW)  Wisconsin’s prep football teams are done being moved around like chess pieces.
The WIAA called checkmate on realignment Tuesday.
The Board of Control passed a statewide football-only conference realignment proposal.

This will take affect starting in the 2020 season.
Here’s how it affects our area’s two biggest conferences.
The MVC remains an eight team conference, but Aquinas is out and River Falls moves in.
Everything else remains the same in the MVC.

Aquinas will move from the MVC to the Coulee Conference.
There, it will join with Altoona as new members of the Coulee.
Luther will leave the Coulee and join the Scenic Bluffs.
