La Crosse, Wisc. (WXOW)- Aquinas softball hosted PDC in a make up game from Tuesday due to the weather. The Blugolds entered the post season having won four of their last five games.

Aquinas had a 3-1 lead in the 4th inning, but PDC’s Macey Banasik had a three run homer and the Blackhawks took a 4-3 lead.

The Blugolds tie the game back up at 4 in the 5th inning, Aquinas’ Alaina Bagniefski had an RBI single to right center to take a 5-4 lead.

However, PDC ties the game up at 5 and that’s where Aquinas’ Sydney Schamberger comes through. Schamberger had bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th inning, hit it hard to third base, the infielder couldn’t come up with it, and a Blugold runner scores to win in walk off fashion 5-4.
