Loggers score 8 runs in the 8th inning to come back and defeat Duluth 10-8

Duluth, Minn. (WXOW)- The La Crosse Loggers are in their toughest stretch of the season thus far. They recently finished up a two game series with the Bismarck Larks, one in which they split the games. The Larks are the top team in the Great Plains West division. Now, the Loggers embark on a two game series in Duluth. The Huskies are the top team in the Great Plains East division.

The Huskies got out to a fast start scoring three runs in the 4th inning and four runs in the 5th inning leading to their largest lead at 8-2  in the 8th inning. The Loggers went on to score 8 runs in the 8th inning to take a 10-8 lead.

Ryan Holgate and Cody Jeffris each finished with 2 RBIs. The Loggers improve to 6-7 on the year. They will take on Duluth Monday at 6:35 pm.
