Holmen, Wisc.(WXOW)- Saturday was the final day of the Lawn Care Specialists Open at Drugan’s Castle Mound Golf Course in Holmen.
Entering the day, Paul Williamson had a one stroke lead, but eight players were within four strokes of Williamson.
Holmen’s Tyler Church was one of those players, starting the day just one stroke back from the lead. Church came through on the final day posting a 68, good for 2-under par, and enough to come home with the Champions Cup Trophy.
“It feels really good,” Church said. “I played really well all day. Except at the end kind of struggled a little bit, but I played well enough before that, that I guess it didn’t really matter too much thankfully. I played really well at the end of my college career. I haven’t been playing as much now because I am working, but when I do play, I have still been playing pretty well, so I was feeling pretty good coming into it.”
