La Crosse, Wisc. (WXOW)- 73 of the best women golfers in Wisconsin met at La Crosse Country Club for the Women’s State Am. The 54-hole tournament wrapped up on Monday.

Racine’s Sarah Busey was crowned the State Am champion. Busey shot 8 over par, five strokes ahead of the next closest golfer.

“It feels great,” Busey said. “I’m really excited to be able to come out first, again didn’t have my best game today, but that’s okay. It was a fun day. Obviously lots of talent here.”
