Hundreds gather for Labor Day Parade, festivities at Copeland Park

Workers all over the country are celebrated a day off to highlight the contributions of laborers on Monday.

That celebration included an annual parade in La Crosse Monday morning. Hundreds of people lined the streets to help make what the department of labor describes as work contributing to the prosperity and well being of America.

The Parade began at the intersection of Gillette and Kane Street and ended at Copeland park, where the festivities continued with all sorts of activities.
