It was a windy weekend that saw many of those leaves fall off the trees. As soon as that wind died down on Sunday afternoon, it ended up being a great end to the weekend with a beautiful sunset.
Seasonable weather returns to the forecast today and it comes with dry conditions, as well!
High Pressure Moves East Today…
It is a return to the seasonable conditions for the start of your work week.
Temperatures usually average the mid 50s this time of year and by this afternoon, that is what we should expect. Highs will top out in the lower to middle 50s under a good mix of sun and clouds. South winds will be much lighter than they were yesterday.
South winds will average 5-10 mph as high pressure wraps up and heads east. Overnight, mostly cloudy skies build into the forecast ahead of the next weak storm system that is lined up for Tuesday. Lows will bottom out in the lower to middle 40s. Southeast winds will be a bit breezy at 7-15 mph. The combination of mostly cloudy skies and those mild, southeasterly winds will keep lows not as cold overnight.
Weak System For Tuesday Will Deliver Isolated Showers
There is a weakening storm system that is slated to move through rather quickly for your Tuesday. It will bring with it very isolated showers.
The best chances for those showers look to be between 10 AM and 1 PM. It would be a good idea to tag that umbrella along with you just in case. Highs will top out in the middle to upper 50s under mostly cloudy skies. Winds will shift out of the southwest at 6-12 mph. Overnight, expect just a few clouds with quiet conditions. Lows will dip back into the upper 30s and low 40s. West winds will take over at 5-10 mph.
Halloween Forecast Preview…Not Too Spooky!
Moving forward into your Halloween forecast. Wednesday, during the day itself, is looking to be mostly sunny with high pressure moving in from the west.
That high pressure for Halloween will mean seasonable high temps with comfortable trick-or-treat time temperatures, too!
Between 4 PM and 9 PM, temps will be in the 40s with just a few clouds. If your costume isn’t too warm, you may want to grab an extra layer to bundle up. We’ll detail that full Halloween forecast for you and much more on Daybreak beginning at 4:30 AM. I’ll see you there! Make it a great Monday!
