The latest weak storm system continued to the west and clouds moved over the area Friday, but stopped short of producing rain until the evening. It hasn’t been very energetic, so we remained dry and slightly cooler than average with highs in the lower 50s.
Light rain is moving across the area, but amounts are light and the coverage scattered as they moved through. Another round is possible into early Saturday. Highs will reach into the lower 50s for Saturday afternoon.
Saturday night will feature another cold front on the move from the Northwest. This front will mean rain will be likely and will last into Sunday morning.
More changes come in the wake of the front as northwesterly winds pick up and could gust to over 30 mph. On the flip side it should help end the rain and allow for sunshine to move in for Monday. Highs for Monday and Tuesday will warm up a bit into the upper 50s.
A system later in the week on Friday could include a few patches of light snow, though it would be too early to tell if any accumulation is possible.
Enjoy your evening and get more details tonight on News 19.
