April Showers Return…

Overnight a weak low pressure introduces warm air advection to increase clouds and moisture will allow for light rain showers into tomorrow morning. Then gloomy skies hold on Tuesday, but temperatures will warm to the mid-60s to continue melting the snow piles left in your yard.

Mid-Week Thunderstorms Possible…

A strong and larger system is to build through the Central Plains and Midwest to make for widespread showers and possible thunderstorms mid-week. There is a high risk for severe storms in the southern states and a marginal risk is possible for South of I-90 in our region. Marginal risk means there could be times of gusty winds and hail chances.

Flooding Continues…

The Mississippi River in La Crosse is at 13.2 ft, which is at moderate flood stage. The river is forecast to fall through the weekend to around 12 ft. If showers mid-week become widespread and heavy could see an increase yet again.
