A high pressure system brought another great day to the region. It started on the chilly side today with lows in the lower 40s, but afternoon sunshine warmed us up into the 60s to lower 70s.

A weak cool front will move through for Thursday. The best chance of rain is Thursday morning, but the storm is moisture-starved. Any amounts will be light and the coverage should be isolated. Highs will reach the upper 60s.

The river stage at La Crosse is currently in moderate flood at around 14.2 feet. The river will retreat to around 14 feet or so for the next 7 days.
