Heat, Humidity, T-storms…

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Slightly cooler today, but still hot…
Despite clouds Tuesday afternoon highs reached into the upper 80s. A weather system is moving through and a few t-storms are pushing in. Even more storms could redevelop Wednesday afternoon and evening, but t-storms are most likely Wednesday night. Heavy rain could certainly occur in some areas.

Hot Tuesday…

Even hotter weather returns quickly…
Readings into the 90s will return Wednesday and last through the rest of the week and into Saturday. Temperatures will drop back next week as an area of high pressure moves in. That shifts the jet stream southward.

7 Day Outlook

Excessive heat for Friday and Saturday…
Heat index values could get as high as 110 degrees, so exercise caution in extreme heat. Stay hydrated and slow down if you must be outside. Limit your exposure to the sun, especially in the heat of the afternoon.
