Stormy Saturday…

Storms packed a punch…
Most of us woke up to some intense thunderstorms Saturday. Two separate waves of storms moved through in the morning and again around lunchtime, bringing very strong winds and heavy rain.  Storm reports came in and multiple towns, like Galesville, are reporting large trees snapped and uprooted.  Flash flooding was also a main concern as some of the storms produced significant rainfall.

Saturday Storm Reports

Temperatures Much Cooler…
Rain was present through much of the region restricting temperatures to the upper 60s and low 70s this afternoon.  Low 80s are expected for much of the week, which will feel very nice considering it’s been so warm and humid lately.  Humidity levels will be much lower as well, woohoo!

High Pressure Sets in…
We are looking at a nice stretch of weather for the week.  High pressure will set into the region which will result in times of sunshine and calm conditions.

High Pressure Sets In

Precipitation Chances Scarce…
As of now it is looking like our chances for precip this week will be rather low.  This is good news for many as wide spread flooding has been a problem this past week.  A few isolated t-storms are possible midweek, but will not amount to much.
