Isolated start…

A weak system will slide through the area this morning and pop up a few showers as well as a few rumbles of thunder. This will dissipated through midday but it won’t be our only chance for rain today. This afternoon temperatures jump to the upper 70s and low 80s with humid conditions so keep the A/C on today, relief is around the corner.

Isolated showers early, then stronger storms possible late

Stronger storms…

A secondary system will spin through the area late this evening and bring another chance for storms. Storms could occur as early as the beginning as the evening commute with isolated storms North, then continue through the late evening. These storms have the potential to bring stronger effects; Small hail, heavy rain and damaging winds. Overnight these will weakening and light showers will continue into Wednesday.

Quick break…

By the end of the day Wednesday the area will dry out and clouds will begin to break apart. The calm conditions will continue for one dry day (Thursday) this week with cooler conditions. Then we will watch for more active weather for the weekend, stay tuned.
