The cloud cover slowly decreased through your Sunday with a beautiful end to the weekend. Then overnight the clear skies allowed for temperatures to drop into the 40s and 50s. The clear skies will persist through the rest of the day to allow for a beautiful summer day as highs climb to the mid-80s with low humidity.
Iowa a low pressure will develop through the overnight and this could allow for a few storms. The areas mostly likely to experience showers and possible thunder will be south of I-90 through the morning commute. Most the area will then stay under partly sunny skies to bring daytime heating. Temperatures will climb to the upper 80s with oppressive humidity as storms build to the North. Then a frontal system will push in potentially strong storms for the evening commute.
