What a Tuesday…
I’m sure many of you woke up to plenty of thunder and lightning early Tuesday morning as that round of storms moved through the region. Rainfall totals were pretty high, near 2” in spots, 1.31” in La Crosse. We saw a dry and WARM rest of Tuesday, with temperatures in the mid 80s. Dry conditions stick around only for tonight, rain chances increase over the next few days.

Multiple rounds of rainfall…
Our next chance for storms returns early Wednesday morning. Heavy rain is expected, and flash flooding could be a concern. We’ll see a lull in the activity during the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s and low 80s with high humidity levels.

More rain Thursday…
Another round of heavy rainfall is possible on Thursday. Totals from the next 2 days could reach upwards of 2-4” in spots, on top of what we saw early Tuesday morning. Flash flooding is definitely a concern through Thursday as well.

Cold Front…
Showers and t-storms end by Thursday night as a cold front sweeps through the region. This front will drop temperatures significantly on Friday with highs near 70. Temperatures warm to near average on Saturday with sunshine and temperatures in the mid 70s!
