RIGHT NOW: Line of storms moving in

A strong line of thunderstorms that has a history of producing 70 mph wind gust and the potential for tornadoes is moving in. The line of storms currently over taking the entire News 19 viewing area. This is a very active line of storms that is bringing several severe thunderstorms warnings with strong gusty winds and heavy rain.

The entire News 19 is under a tornado watch until 10 PM as conditions are favorable for tornadoes and strong storms to occur.

Watch is in effect through early tomorrow morning. With rainfall reported every day since Monday the ground cannot hold much more. The additional rainfall that is possible tonight could lead to pooling on the road ways and river rises. So stay alert and never drive through flooded streets. TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN
