It was a warm one out there! Temperatures across the board made it into the low or mid 80s. We saw mostly sunny skies in the morning give way to some afternoon clouds. It’s warm, but the general consensus here at the station is that they will take all of the warmth they can…because they know what’s around the corner.
Heat isn’t going anywhere…
Highs through most of the week will remain in the 80s. Expect mid 80s again on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then low 80s through Saturday. High humidity will accompany these warm temperatures with dew points in the upper 60s generally all week.
This heat and humidity will help fuel multiple rounds of showers and t-storms starting on Wednesday. The warm and humid air mass will stick around through Saturday. While there is a chance for scattered showers and t-storms all week after Tuesday, it will not be a washout. The activity looks to be pretty scattered in nature, common for this summer-like weather.
Early Week Relief?
It looks like Sunday we could finally see some cooler temperatures. Our current forecast has temperatures falling back to the 70s for Sunday and Monday. Fingers crossed, temps in the 70s are my favorite!
Have a great Monday Night!
