Last beautiful fall day…

We’ll watch for another day where the southerly winds will bring breezy but warm conditions. Highs will climb back to the 70s with the sunshine around most the day. Then by the evening clouds move in and we will watch for big changes.

Wet end to the week…

The talk around the office has been about the first big snowstorm of the season. BUT for the Coulee Region snow is something we probably won’t see, however, showers will still dominate the end of the week. The region will remain mainly on the easterly (warmer) side of the low pressure. This will bring showers Thursday afternoon through Friday morning; a few embedded thunderstorms are possible.

BIG cool down…

After the showers move east with the low pressure, the cool air that brought snow to the Upper Midwest takes over. Overnight night lows Friday and Saturday night could drop to freezing if a few showers linger there could be a couple flurries but no accumulation expected. Then the highs through the weekend will be in the 40s, so bundle up if you head outdoor weekend activities.
